Dengie was established in 1968, originally starting life as a farmers cooperative. It continues to be run today with the same ethos of supporting the local farming community by growing the majority of ingredients used within their feed themselves.This keeps food miles low as well as ensuring full traceability, indeed every bad of Dengie feed can be traced back to the field it was grown in!

Dengie horse feeds pride themselves on producing high-quality healthy horse feed, supplements and feed balancers which have quality assurance from UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Scheme) and FEMAS (Feed Materials Assurance Scheme). They are also approved under the BETA NOPS for taking measures to reduce the risk of contamination with substances not permitted under the rules of FEI and horse racing.
