Over the last two decades, British brand LeMieux has flooded the equestrian market. Their vast range of products for horse and rider are innovative, durable and stylish, and come at a reasonable price point. From their inaugural signature Merino lambskin saddlepads to their more recent matching sets, LeMieux are bound to have brought to the market a product to suit your every equestrian need.

In 2006, Robert and Lisa LeMieux set out with the aim to “make equipment that was innovative, well-made but above all, affordable” – a philosophy that has continued through the expansion of the LeMieux range and embodies who LeMieux are today. The range started with the production of LeMieux saddle pads – using Robert LeMieux’s experience as an Olympic rider, the couple identified a gap in the market for quality lambskin saddle pads. The LeMieux Merino Lambskin pads were born and the benefits of sheepskin in equestrian products remains a popular concept today, with the Merino range having branched out to various accessories.

Their natural bamboo lined saddle pads quickly followed, available in a basic range of colours, and didn’t take long to prove popular. More colours of pads followed by matching accessories were developed, and this is where LeMieux really found their niche – the brand is the hallmark of matching equestrian wear today and continues to expand their range to include a shade to suit every horse and rider’s tastes.

Today, LeMieux pride themselves on manufacturing a huge range of essentials for the horse and rider, including wide range of styles and types of horse boots & bandages suitable for competitions as well as schooling and travel, to protect your horse from knocks, strikes, and strains. By using some of the toughest materials on the market and utilising clever design techniques, they guarantee top levels of performance.

Who owns LeMieux?

LeMieux is owned by Robert and Lisa LeMieux who founded the company, originally called Horse Health. In 2003, they started selling horse supplements, and by 2006, began to focus their attention on the development of the Merino Lambskin pads that helped secure their place in the equestrian market.

Is LeMieux a French brand?

LeMieux is a British company founded in Britain by Robert LeMieux and his wife Lisa. “Le mieux” is a French word, meaning “the best”.

What is the most popular LeMieux colour?
