SupaStuds for horses was the idea of Bruce Jolly. He used his engineering background combined with five years of research and feedback from top riders such as Mary King, and competitors from Pony Clubs to Riding Clubs to get the design just right. SupaStuds were then launched in 2005 where they were awarded the Innovations Award for Safety and Security.
SupaStuds are self-cleaning studs, which allows them to be screwed into a shoe without "tapping-out" the hole. They are also hardened using a high-tech manufacturing process to prolong their life and make them rust-resistant.
