Details
Premier Performance Calming Powder is a powerful everyday supplement that can be fed on a daily basis that is formulated to help your horse to stay calm, confident and focused without affecting the ability to perform. Ideal for horses during stressful situations such as breaking, training, loading, travelling, clipping, racing, outings and competitions or any situation that causes anxiety, stress or fear.
The active ingredient L-Tyrosine is a natural mood stabiliser, that can help towards a more focused, confident horse and less anxious horse. L- Arginine is the active ingredient used by the body to change into Nitric Oxide (NO). Nitric Oxide is a powerful neurotransmitter. As Nitric Oxide levels become greater it can help to deliver the amino acids quicker.
Calming Powder has all the same benefits as Calming Cookies® but a slightly stronger formula with effects still being seen after 8 hours for an average horse. Every horse is different and will metabolise at different rates as well as having pre-existing levels of non-essential amino acids in the body.
Calming Powder has a full range of natural vitamins, minerals and amino acids for the general health and the natural well-being of the digestive system. Calming Powder and Calming Cookies complement each other and can be fed together.
Instructions for use
1 scoop (30ml) = 18g
Per 500g horse, administer 1 level scoop in the morning. Some horses may benefit from 1 level scoop of calming powder in the evening if extra support is needed. Mix with feed. Can be syringed by mixing with a little water to form a paste. Can be fed alongside the Calming Cookies.
For difficult behaviours, a loading dose for up to 10 days is recommended. The effects of the Calming Powder are more predictable and consistent when fed regularly and twice a day.

We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.
UK Orders
- Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75* excluding non-Mainland, Highlands & Northern Ireland
- UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
- UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 an expedited tracked service.
- UK Mainland DPD Express Delivery is £5.95. If ordered on a Friday the next working day is Monday, in times of high parcel numbers DPD may deliver this on Saturday. There will be a text and/or email notification sent to let you know when DPD intend to deliver.
- UK Saturday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm.
- UK Sunday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm. We do not have a weekend collection so orders placed on Saturday for Sunday will be for the following Sunday.
- UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50, or £8.50 on orders over £50 this is due to higher cost of shipping
- Smaller items are posted with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from the point of order to arrive during normal levels of activity.
- *Some products must be shipped via DPD courier due to delivery restrictions, these are marked on our website as Courier or Free Click & Collect eg long items over 62cm, heavy items over 5kg and air canisters.
- Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required)
- A DPD Next Day Delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £5.95 Monday to Thursday. Orders must be placed before 3pm (Monday - Thursday) to qualify. Orders placed after 3pm on DPD Next Day will be dispatched the following day. Orders placed after Friday 3pm and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. We do not get collections from DPD or Royal Mail on Bank Holidays. Our courier does not deliver on Bank Holidays.
- Saturday and Sunday named day delivery is £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands and Islands). Orders must be placed before 3pm on Friday, please note our courier does not collect from us at the weekend so orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
- Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and Channel Islands, AB31-56, EI, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.
International Orders
- Standard Europe delivery is £9.50.
- Standard Worldwide delivery is £25.00 - please note there may be additional charges depending on the size and weight of your parcel and the location of delivery.
- Standard delivery prices for overseas orders are estimates only and in exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to fulfil your order for the quoted price, if this is the case you will be contacted by email
