The Neue Schule Waterford Elevator Bit is useful if you need to sit the horse on its hocks and make tight turns. The Waterford Elevator is designed to assist with directional control and helps set up for arrowheads and other tight fences. The elevator bit is normally used with one rein fixed on the centre or bottom ring but can also be used with pelham roundings between the central and bottom rings. The waterford elevator is a favourite amongst showjumpers and eventers.
The waterford mouthpiece bends in every direction which helps to eliminated pulling and leaning on the bit, it also ensures the mouthpiece is suitable for most types of mouth conformation, including big, fat tongues. The Neue Schule waterford also features a lip shelf to eradicate rubbing.
Neue Schule bits have Salox Gold mouthpieces which are warmer and sweeter tasting than conventional bits. Salox gold gives a comfortable experience to the horse encouraging them to be more relaxed and accepting of the bit.
