Equilage haylage is the perfect choice for horses and ponies that suffer from dust allergies. Equilage consists of natural grass, cut in the same way as hay but instead of being left to dry out completely it's packed under pressure just as the grass is wilting. This eliminates air and significantly reduces the ability for mould spores to grow which can cause health issues for horses that suffer from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD).
